Jackie, originally from Waverly, TN, earned her M.S. in Business Administration from Belmont, a remarkable achievement she completed as a single parent while working full-time—an accomplishment of which she is very proud. As a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) with almost 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at SVMIC. Her first interaction with SVMIC began when the Medical Practice Services department assisted her former practice with a large project, inspiring her with their passion for helping physicians. Jackie now shares that same passion in her role and is dedicated to helping physicians solve problems and create sustainable, balanced work lives.
The tragic loss of her oldest son to an overdose in October 2022 deeply impacted Jackie’s life, strengthening her resolve to advocate for those battling addiction and support recovery efforts. She dedicates her time to community improvement, serving on board committees for a hospital, a nursing home, a high school baseball club, and the non-profit No More Tears Recovery. In her free time, she loves being near the water, fishing, and exploring antique and thrift stores.
