Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, Michael brings extensive healthcare administration experience to the SVMIC team. Before joining SVMIC, he worked in both private practice and hospital settings in Northwest Arkansas, where he gained valuable insight into physician compensation and governance in both environments. His expertise includes financial management, operations, physician transitions, payment reform, and telemedicine. One of Michael’s proudest achievements was completing an Administrative Fellowship at Staten Island University Hospital following his graduate degree in healthcare administration. Michael was drawn to SVMIC for its alignment with his personal values, exceptional teams, strong organizational culture, and outstanding leadership. He takes pride in supporting policyholders and contributing to impactful, diverse projects.
Outside of work, Michael prioritizes fitness, outdoor activities, and lifelong self-improvement. He enjoys being in nature and cherishes quality time with family and friends.
