Shelly, originally from Owendale, Michigan, celebrates thirty-five years with SVMIC and currently serves as the Vice President of Risk Education & Evaluation Services. She began her career as a law clerk at the state and federal levels and was introduced to SVMIC by a federal judge. Starting as a Claims Attorney in the Claims department at SVMIC, Shelly has built a rewarding career with the company. Joining SVMIC’s Leadership Team has awarded her the opportunity to cultivate innovation and creativity, two things that drive her. Her proudest achievement at SVMIC was launching the company’s Medical Office Risk Evaluation (M.O.R.E®) program.
Outside of work, Shelly is a loyal UT, Titans, and Predators fan. She is passionate about animals and looks forward to volunteering at animal shelters when she has the opportunity. She also enjoys reading, walking, and traveling. She is blessed to have a wonderful family and 6 beloved grand-dogs.
