Renee Tidwell, currently Director of Corporate Services at SVMIC, has spent many years with the company in a variety of roles. Renee’s current position allows her the unique perspective that comes from working closely with all departments within the company, as well as overseeing customer service to policyholders and working directly with our Board and Committee members. She spends a good deal of her time learning the intricacies of keeping the business running smoothly through working and overseeing many of SVMIC’s company-wide processes. Jonah Pfeffer Executive Vice President, Gallagher Re North America Jonah joined Gallagher Re (formerly Willis Re) in early 2021, working out of the Minneapolis office. He currently leads the Long Tail Lines product verticals for Regional Casualty, Workers Compensation and Healthcare across the US. His main focus is ensuring the delivery of the entire Gallagher Re platform to existing and prospective clients within these segments. Immediately prior to joining Willis Re, Jonah held the role of Chief Casualty Officer for BMS Re, with responsibilities that included management of all US Branch Offices. From 2013 to 2020, Jonah ventured outside of the broking world, serving as President of Reinsurance for OneBeacon Insurance Group, where he was responsible for developing and implementing corporate risk strategies including insurance, reinsurance, creating a Bermuda based reinsurer, and building a portfolio of assumed mortgage business. His previous reinsurance broking career focused predominantly on Specialty Casualty, Professional Liability and Healthcare clients and included roles as Executive Vice President of StoneHill Reinsurance Partners and Managing Director at Guy Carpenter after beginning his career at EW Blanch Company as a Reinsurance Analyst Trainee in 1997. Jonah attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, were he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received his B.A. with a double major in History and International Relations, and a Minor in English.
