Renee Tidwell, currently Director of Corporate Services at SVMIC, has spent many years with the company in a variety of roles. Renee’s current position allows her the unique perspective that comes from working closely with all departments within the company, as well as overseeing customer service to policyholders and working directly with our Board and Committee members. She spends a good deal of her time learning the intricacies of keeping the business running smoothly through working and overseeing many of SVMIC’s company-wide processes. Richard Henderson is a Senior Vice President with TransRe, and has headed TransRe’s medical malpractice claims department for the past 25 years. Rich has more than 35 years of medical malpractice claims experience. Rich is actively involved with TransRe’s reinsured's, brokers and Third-Party Administrators in refining their claim handling strategies and in providing meaningful input as to industry trends and claim handling tactics. Rich is also Advisory Co-Chair of American Legal Connections (ALC), a med mal-focused initiative where front line industry professionals are actively engaged in devising strategies targeted at improving claim outcomes.
