Terry Humphrey

Terry’s vision is to energize and support individuals and their organizations to improve success at work and in life. She is a recognized expert in developing individuals and teams to consistently achieve exceptional results. For over 30 years, Terry has been providing coaching and consulting services to organizations, including healthcare from acute care to physician practices to healthcare analytics, with processes and approaches for creating and deploying their vision and values. Most recently as an executive with Hospital Corporation of America, the world’s largest for-profit hospital organization, Terry supported several talent and management initiatives, as well as leading a team to develop and deploy the first national sales organization for HCA. Clients describe Terry as “challenging, energizing, encouraging, and strategic.” Terry is especially qualified for coaching because of her extensive background in business, coaching, and wellness. Her experiences in operations, technology, sales, marketing, human resources, and general business have provided her with extensive knowledge in how successful organizations achieve exceptional outcomes. Terry is committed to the profession of coaching with over 800 hours of coach education, earning her the distinction of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation. She is a certified Presence Based Coach, specializing in the integration of the whole person into their work and life. She’s certified in a variety of assessments and other tools to support efficient and effective learning with the goal of developing successful individuals and teams to their highest potential. Terry’s education includes an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and additional graduate graduate-level training from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, the University of Michigan, and MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

About our Host

Renee Tidwell, currently Director of Corporate Services at SVMIC, has spent many years with the company in a variety of roles. Renee’s current position allows her the unique perspective that comes from working closely with all departments within the company, as well as overseeing customer service to policyholders and working directly with our Board and Committee members. She spends a good deal of her time learning the intricacies of keeping the business running smoothly through working and overseeing many of SVMIC’s company-wide processes. Her venture into podcast hosting allows Renee to experience life through the lens of our listeners where she can bring her company expertise and natural curiosity to her conversations with our wide variety of guests.
